ITV This Morning halted for breaking news as star confirms engagement

During Monday's instalment, host Cat Deeley halted the programme to inform viewers of an update. She said: "We've got breaking news, officially, Nick Ferrari is off the market!
I hear hearts breaking." As Vanessa Feltz jokingly replied: "No! Say it's not true!" Cat addressed Nick to ask what was happening.
The broadcaster, who appeared live from his LBC studio, informed the This Morning presenter he's got engaged. He said: "I know a nation's heart is broken, but I have to impart the news, Vanessa, I'm sorry to do it in this fashion, but yes, I am engaged to be wed!" Ben, Cat and Vanessa erupted into a cheer and round of applause as Nick explained he is now engaged to his partner Clare.
