This Morning fans were left confused on Friday as the ITV show dropped off air whilst live. Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary were on the sofa as normal and when the programme resumed after an ad break, old footage started to air on the show, whilst a message on screen read: "We are sorry for the disruption to your schedule.

We will return to normal programming as soon as we can."
