This Morning fans were left surprised as Lily Allen made a rare appearance on the ITV daytime show. The singer-turned-actress was live in the studio to chat to Holly Willoughby and her new co-host Joel Dommett alongside Freema Agyeman about their new Sky comedy.

The pair are starring opposite each other in upcoming series Dreamland, a comedy-drama about secrets, lies, loves and aspirations within a family of four sisters, all set in the British seaside town of Margate.

Kicking off their chat, Holly asked Lily and Freema: "So just explain who you are..." "My character is called Mel," Lily replied before turning to her co-star. "And my character's called Trish," Freema laughed before Holly elaborated on the story. "Trish is the older sister, isn't she?" Holly said. "So she's pregnant with her third child at the moment.

So, she's kind of this tour de force, really - very, very passionate about her kids their entire lives."
