It’s been 12 years since Sam Buttery starred on The Voice UK, and she’s now landed a new role on hit Netflix series Kaos. Sam first appeared on screens during the first series of the BBC show at the time, at just 20 years old, and will be remembered for having a big voice, quiff, glasses and personality.
Sam's school refused the star a part in their play before they went on to star on the talent show, with the feedback that they did not have a “strong enough voice.” However Sam proved them wrong after getting the approval of music legend Tom Jones.
Bursting on to the stage, Sam wowed with a performance of Adele ’s Set Fire To The Rain and continued to wow throughout the series.
However, was eliminated in the Live Finals. Now, Sam's career in showbiz is going from strength to strength (minus the quiff) as she can be seen in Netflix’s new mythological black comedy series Kaos, and plays one of The Fates; three trans non-binary, immortal Gods of desire.
