Sarah Catherine Hook, Jameela Jamil, Lucien Laviscount & Lukas Gage Join Netflix & 3000 Pictures’ ‘People We Meet On Vacation’
deadline.comSarah Catherine Hook (The White Lotus), Jameela Jamil (The Good Place), Lucien Laviscount (Emily in Paris), and Lukas Gage (Smile 2) have joined the cast of People We Meet on Vacation, the forthcoming adaptation of Emily Henry’s bestseller from Netflix and 3000 Pictures, on which we were first to report.
Details as to the quartet’s roles are under wraps. Tom Blyth and Emily Bader topline the pic from director Brett Haley (I’ll See You in My Dreams), which marks Henry’s first book adaptation to go into production.
The film follows free-spirited Poppy and routine-loving Alex, who have been unlikely best friends for a decade, living in different cities but spending every summer vacation together.
The careful balance of their friendship is put to the test when they begin to question what has been obvious to everyone else — could they actually be the perfect romantic match?
