ITV The Masked Singer's Piranha crowned winner and unmasked as boy band legend

Piranha has won The Masked Singer and unmasked as McFly legend Danny Jones. The boy band legend left the judges speechless, as runner-up Bigfoot's identity also revealed as TV presenter Alex Brooker.

The Masked Singer final kicked off on Saturday night as we got to see who actually was behind the masks. Contestants opened the show with a rendition of By Your Side by Calvin Harris featuring Tom Grennan.

Host Joel Dommett asked special guest panellist Rob Brydon how he was feeling about the show, to which he said: “I couldn’t be more excited".Bigfoot and Pirannha were left fighting it out for the 2024 crown as they took to the stage to repeat their most favourited performance from the series.There was a touching Celine Dione tribute, with her hit song It's All Coming Back to Me Now performed by Piranha.Just narrowly missing out the final run was Cricket, with the panel unanimously guessing Lemar was behind the costume and the singing legend was revealed. "You have been absolutely fantastic," the judges praised.Elsewhere on the show, The Masked Singer finalists were joined by former contestants to perform duets during the series’ grand finale.

Cricket sang Rewrite The Stars from The Greatest Showman with Charlotte Church, who had appeared on the show previously as Mushroom.
