ITV The Masked Singer: Piranha crowned winner and unveiled as McFly star
ok.co.ukAfter eight nail biting weeks of intense competition, The Masked Singer finally crowned its winner on Saturday evening when Piranha took home the crown after impressing the panel of judges.
For their final song Piranha performed the Celine Dion classic It's All It's All Coming Back to Me Now, with their impeccable voice blowing away Davina McCall, Jonathan Ross, Rita Ora, Mo Gilligan and guest judge Rob Brydon, with all five judges left scratching their heads about who exactly could be behind such impeccable vocal chops.
After beating fellow finalists Cricket and Bigfoot, the all important moment came to unmask this year’s winner, with the audience excitedly chanting “take it off” until Piranha was revealed to be none other than McFly singer Danny Jones.
The latest series of The Masked Singer, kicked off on 30 December 2023, following on from a very special festive edition which aired on Christmas Day, and introduced viewers at home to an exciting cast of 12 new characters: Owl, Air Fryer, Bubble Tea, Eiffel Tower, Chicken Caesar, Piranha, Maypole, Cricket, Bigfoot, Dippy Egg, Weather and Rat.
