ITV's The Masked Singer winner 'revealed' as expert announces favourite to win
dailyrecord.co.ukThe latest episode of ITV's The Masked Singer saw Bubble Tea leave the show after the character was unmasked as former Absolutely Fabulous star Julia Sawalha.During the school disco themed episode, Bubble Tea was beaten by Owl in the sing off, leaving guest panellist Jennifer Saunders shocked to discover that her Ab Fab co-star was the face behind the mask.Eight unknown contestants still remain on the reality show including Piranha, Eiffel Tower, Air Fryer, Dippy Egg, Maypole, Cricket, Bigfoot and Owl.Gambling.com reality TV betting expert, James Leyfield has now provided his odds on the most likely candidates behind each character as well as who he believes will win the show.
According to the expert, Maypole remains the favourite character to win at 2/1 on betting sites while Piranha has moved into 5/2 second favourite, from 4/1 last week.James claims that the most suspected celebrity behind the mask of Maypole is Rita with 2/1 odds and 33% probability that she is the fan favourite character.Rita has been missing from the judging panel on the last few episodes of the show as ITV claim she is currently working on a project in the United States.Behind her is former Pussycat Doll members Ashley Roberts and Melody Thornton at 3/1 followed by British singer Becky Hill at 4/1.Meanwhile, McFly singer Danny Jones has been the favourite to be Piranha for several weeks now and has been cut into 1/3 after more clues appeared to point in the direction of his name.Pinecones were offered as one of Piranha's clues which could be a possible hint towards McFly's appearance in the 200y6 comedy film Just My Luck with Chris Pine.
