While there's an exciting week ahead on Emmerdale this week, fans of the soap will be missing out on an episode after another ITV schedule shake-up.
Emmerdale's Tuesday 8th April episode has been removed from the schedules to make room for ITV's sports coverage. Emmerdale 's rescheduling is the latest in transmission changes in soap land, after both the BBC and ITV have moved around episodes of EastEnders, Coronation Street and Emmerdale to accommodate the FA Cup and the Six Nations.
The long-running soap usually airs at 7:30pm on weeknights on ITV, however it has been replaced by the Women's UEFA Euro 2025 Qualifier on Tuesday night. The match will see the Republic of Ireland take on England's team.
It's not all bad for Emmerdale fans however, as we'll be getting a double dose of the Yorkshire-based soap on Monday 8th April instead. To make up for Tuesday's missed episode, ITV will air an hour-long episode at 7pm on Monday.
