Judi Love's unusual hack for banishing body odour during the soaring temperatures has come as a big surprise to many. The Loose Women star swapped the panel for the Good Morning Britain studio this week to chat about her new stand-up show, Work in Progress.

However, as expected, the conversation soon turned to the weather and the heatwave currently being experienced across the country as temperatures hit new records.

And it turns out Judi was prepared as she was quizzed on her way of dealing with body odour during the heat. To demonstrate how she keeps herself smelling fresh during the sweaty days and nights many of us are currently experiencing, Judi was given a bowl of sweet potatoes and some deodorant. "And this sweet potato, you can boil it, make it cool and put it under your armpit if you’ve got an odour issue,” she continued. "What?!" a shocked Ranvir remarked before her confused co-host Ed Balls asked: "And have those been under your armpits yet or…?" "No!" Judi replied before explaining: "You have to boil it, mash it, let it cool a little bit, just put it under your armpit and let it draw out the stench!" She then went on to say it's an "old school method" to which Ranvir commented: "Can I just say, it’s an education Judi.
