On Monday evening's episode campmates read out a letter that Grace had penned to her co-stars as she left the show.ITV confirmed Grace's departure from camp on Monday morning but didn't disclose the exact reason for the star's early exit.A spokesperson for the broadcaster said in a statement: "Unfortunately Grace Dent has left the show on medical grounds.
She has been a great campmate and will be missed by her fellow celebrities and viewers alike."The MasterChef star, 50, wrote in a statement posted to Instagram on Thursday that her time on the programme showed her she is “physically stronger” than she thought.
