Barry McGuigan has said his late daughter was 'with him' throughout his experience in I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here - and that he wouldn’t have gone so far in the jungle without her.
The boxing legend, who was the fifth celebrity to leave camp alongside Maura Higgins in Thursday's double eviction (Dec 5), has admitted taking comfort in thinking of Danika, who passed away in 2019 aged 33, just five weeks after being diagnosed with bowel cancer.
During his time in the Australian jungle, viewers saw the grieving star break down whilst talking about his beloved daughter to his fellow campmates in emotional scenes.
He has now said that Danika inspired his entire jungle journey, as she was a fan of the ITV show.
