Get Me Out of Here! co-host Declan Donnelly appeared on the ITV2 companion show, I'm A Celebrity ...Unpacked, shortly after some tear-jerking scenes aired on the main programme.

In the second episode of the 2024 series, viewers were touched as McGuigan received comfort from his campmates while he emotionally discussed his late daughter, who tragically passed away five weeks after being diagnosed with bowel cancer in 2019.

Ant, who recently became a dad for the first time, shared with hosts Joel Dommett, Kemi Rodgers and reigning King of the Jungle Sam Thompson that he had previewed the emotional scenes before the 9pm broadcast. "That really got me," the new father admitted. "We watched it earlier in the day, before the show, and I was crying," he further revealed. "I can't imagine losing a child and he didn't want to go there but he couldn't help it.
