Nigel Farage's girlfriend Lauren Ferrari has been rushed to hospital following a terrifying medical emergency. She was involved in a surfing accident as she awaits her partner's exit from the Australian jungle.

Former UKIP leader and Brexit frontman Nigel has made it to the semi-finals of ITV's I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!.Unbeknown to him, his partner Lauren, 48, has currently got her arm held up in a sling after she hurt herself in the accident whilst learning how to surf on the beach in Australia.According to reports in the Mirror, sources say Lauren is determined to enjoy the remaining time she has in Australia and won't let her sore arm get in the way.She was also spotted among friends and family waiting for their loved ones to exit the jungle.Meanwhile, Nigel's PR team back at home have been busy working overtime to win him votes according to the publication.

The former politician has openly admitted he puts himself forward for jungle trials to get himself more 'air time' on the show.It comes as ITV executives are now openly admitting they regret signing him as they fear the far-right politician could actually be crowned King of the jungle in tomorrow night's final.His team have been publishing Vote Nigel posters on landmarks, such as a London bus, black cab, in the Tube, and even beamed on to the Empire State Building in New York to try and make him win.
