Tensions flared on Wednesday's episode of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! as a new rift emerged among the campmates. The latest show (November 27) saw the camp dealing with an unwelcome guest as a rat was lured in to camp by leftover bits of their mud crab dinner.

Reverend Richard Coles briefed his fellow contestants at breakfast, saying: "We had a visitor last night, a little four legged visitor with a tail, a rat." He pointed out that some items, including a frying pan and cups, were left out overnight, and he stressed the importance of tidying up to avoid attracting rodents.

Dean McCullough didn't hesitate to voice his thoughts in the Bush Telegraph, remarking: "It's actually Jane and Tulisa's job to make sure that the pots are in the trunk, so when the reverend was telling everyone to put the pots away otherwise we'll get rats, what he really meant was, Jane and Tulisa, put the pots away," reports the Express.

The atmosphere intensified when Melvin Odoom commented on the gruelling task of water collection, describing it as "relentless".
