They wouldn't let me keep anything!" He then added that he hoped to bring the sceptre through airport security but, due to its size, he had to leave it behind.The amount Sam earned following his win on the reality show is still unknown however it is reported that celebrities appearing on the programme who win the title usually bag between £30,000 and £600,000, according to reports in the Mirror.Grace Dent, who left the camp on medical grounds early on in the show, pocketed £100,000, while Jamie-Lynn Spears, who also ended up leaving on medical grounds later on in the series, pocketed a whopping £250,000.Responding to Nigel Farage's whopping £1.5million payday, Sam told The Times: "It wasn't monetary, or a career move, I genuinely wanted to go and eat camel's penis.
