Good Morning Britain viewers couldn't help but cringe when one of the show's reporters was 'snubbed' live on air. Kate Garraway and Ben Shephard were back at the helm of the ITV news programme on Thursday (September 15) as their coverage of the Queen's death continued.

The show had sent some of its reporters out to various locations, including the mammoth queue where people are waiting to see the late Queen Elizabeth II lie in state before her state funeral on Monday, September 19.

They hoped to chat to people as they made their way to Westminster Hall this morning, just over 12 hours since the public was first allowed to file past the Queen's coffin following a possession from Buckingham Palace where the late monarch, who died last Thursday aged 96, spent Tuesday night after being flown back to London from Edinburgh.

The Queen was handed to the care of the nation for a period of lying in state after her family marched in homage behind her coffin as it was carried to Westminster Hall.
