GMB marked its eight-year anniversary today (Friday 29th April), and no reason for popular presenter Kate's absence was given. However, Charlotte seamlessly covered for Kate and tackled some big topics on the show.Meanwhile, Kate recently enjoyed some much-needed downtime with her son Billy, 12, as they visited Legoland, Windsor for a fun half-term day out.

Good Morning Britain host Ben Shephard was forced to clarify his guest's comments about a Tory MP allegedly watching porn in the House of Commons.The ITV presenter spoke to journalist Quentin Letts about the MP allegedly watching pornography on his mobile phone inside the chamber.However, the politics discussion on Thursday's show (April 28) faced a furious backlash as many viewers felt the reporter was defending the MP's act.Quentin said the House of Commons is a boring place and MPs don't always concentrate on proceedings that go on inside the chamber. This Morning’s Phillip Schofield stopped a guest in their tracks after they announced what they planned to cook for the hosts on the early morning show.Phil Vickery appeared in the cooking segment for the ITV show and introduced his dish, named “Phil’s Spiced Lamb Kebabs,” but was quickly cut off by presenter Phillip Schofield after he revealed the side dish he planned to serve.Phillip introduced Phil to the audience and said that he has a “delicious meal to start the week”.Phil began: “I’ve got some sort of kebabs here that we’re going to play around with, along with a dip which I had in a restaurant a couple of weeks ago.""Also, couscous! A lot of people don’t like it, but if you get a lot of flavours into it -”Phillip cut off the celebrity chef: “Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. What did you just say? Couscous?
