During an awkward moment on ITV's Good Morning Britain, Dionne Warwick appeared to lose patience with host Kate Garraway. Despite her best intentions when mentioning the iconic singer's age, Garraway seemed to spark a hint of frustration in Warwick. The legendary 83-year-old was speaking to the Good Morning Britain hosts, including Richard Madeley, this Thursday, May 2.

She discussed her enduring career in the spotlight and her upcoming performances at the Cheltenham Jazz Festival, which runs until May 6.Both Garraway and Madeley were visibly impressed during their chat with the 'Walk On By' singer, who has inspired multiple generations - including Doja Cat, who sampled Warwick for her own song, 'Paint The Town Red'.

However, Garraway's attempt to be polite was quickly dismissed by the star."You shouldn't mention a woman's age but you're in your eighties", began the presenter, only to be interrupted by an amused yet slightly irritated Warwick. "I'm 83.

You can say I'm 83", she interjected. Garraway responded: "83 and looking fabulous", before allowing the conversation to proceed, reports the Mirror.Much like the hosts, ITV viewers were pleased to see Warwick doing well and took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to express their thoughts: "How nice to see Dionne Warwick on GMB", one user notably commented.
