After plenty of speculation, the new owners of The Woolpack have been revealed. During Thursday night's trip to the Dales, it was confirmed that Ryan Stocks and mum Charity Dingle would be taking over the beloved pub.

The pair left Paddy, Chas and Marlon Dingle blindsided after the results of the auction were revealed. Chas has been left heartbroken at having to give up the pub after Al Chapman's plans to turn it into luxury accommodation backfired. Speaking about his character being the new owner of the Woolpack, James Moore, who plays him, said: "I was excited to hear Ryan would be one of the new owners of the pub. "It's a big step for him as a character especially after losing his mother and cements his part in Emmerdale history." And it's a return behind the bar for Charity who was forced out of the business by Chas.
