Emmerdale has hinted at the method Ruby Fox-Miligan (Beth Cordingly) uses to kill her abusive father, Anthony. Last month, Ruby's life was thrown into chaos when her estranged father Anthony (Nicholas Day) arrived in the Dales, following the appearance of her daughter Steph (Georgia Jay).
As Anthony settled in, Ruby began to unravel, clearly concealing something about her father. Despite this, she agreed to let Anthony remain in their lives to keep Steph close.
Steph hoped for a family reconciliation, particularly as Anthony has been diagnosed with cancer. However, Ruby ended up having an affair with Cain (Jeff Hordley), Caleb's (William Ash) half-brother.
It was later revealed that Anthony had sexually abused Ruby during her childhood and it was heavily suggested that he is Steph's biological father.
