The character in question, Nate Robinson, left the soap last year to take on a new job in Shetland, with barely any mention of him ever since apart from to say he'd arrived.
Jurell Carter joined the ITV soap as Nate in 2019 where his first appearance showed him sharing a kiss with Rhona Goskirk. Later in the show, he got a job working for Moira Dingle.
Things soon turned sour for Nate, however, after he was subjected to Cain Dingle's anger following a misunderstanding that Nate was making a pass at Moira.
