ITV Emmerdale double exit 'sealed' for soap legends in tragic twist

Emmerdale seems to be gearing up for a dramatic storyline with suspicions that they will kill off two treasured characters, leaving fans less than pleased.

Ruby Fox-Miligan (played by Beth Cordingly) saw her world flipped on its head after the unexpected visit of her estranged father Anthony (portrayed by Nicholas Day) to the village on the ITV soap.His arrival closely followed that of her daughter Steph (played by Georgia Jay).

As Anthony grew accustomed to village life, Ruby began to unravel, hinting at a dark secret concerning her father.This turmoil led Ruby into infidelity, as she cheated on Caleb (William Ash) with his half-brother Cain (Jeff Hordley).

The plot thickened when it was revealed that Ruby had been sexually abused by Anthony during her childhood and speculation arose suggesting Anthony might be Steph's biological father.
