ITV Dancing On Ice star Rachel Stevens has been forced to pull out of Sunday's show. The former S Club 7 band member was due to make her debut on the ice skating competition this week, but an injury means she can no longer perform.

The 43-year-old singer suffered a bad fall on the ice during training and has sustained a fracture to her wrist. Rachel was set to take to the ice with professional skater Brendyn Hatfield for the first time this weekend after months of rehearsing. She later embarked on a successful solo career and finished second on Strictly Come Dancing in 2008. A spokesperson for Dancing on Ice announced that Rachel will unfortunately miss her show debut. "Due to an injury sustained in training and on the expert advice from the Dancing on Ice medical professionals, Rachel Stevens will not skate in this Sunday's show. "We look forward to her returning to the show next weekend," the statement said.

It has been confirmed that Rachel will perform for the first time during week three of the competition on Sunday, January 30.
