Coronation Street actress Jenny McAlpine, who plays Weatherfield legend Fizz Dobbs, has finally returned to the cobbles nine months after giving birth to her third child, a daughter called Doris.

The 39 year old star went on maternity leave early last year, and welcomed her little girl, whom she shares with husband Chris Farr, on April 4.

At the time, Jenny decided to keep the news on the down-low so the family could enjoy some quiet time together before announcing to the world.The actress then proudly shared her news in an exclusive interview with OK!
