Dancing on Ice fans have jumped to the defence of one of the show's professional skaters following her first performance of the series.

The hit ITV skating competition returned to screens on Sunday night (January 21) for week two. During the 2024 series debut last weekend, viewers saw the first six celebrities - Ryan Thomas, Roxy Shahidi, Ricky Hatton, Hannah Spearritt, Greg Rutherford and Amber Davies - take to the ice for their debut performances with their professional skater partners.

This weekend, the six famous faces who completed this year's line-up - Adele Roberts, Eddie 'The Eagle' Edwards, Claire Sweeney, Miles Nazaire, Lou Sanders and Ricky Norwood - all took to the ice for the first time before the first skate-off and elimination of the 2024 series.
