The ITV soap was back on-screen on Monday night (February 27) and viewers saw Paul Foreman eager to get back to work after his recent accident.
In previous scenes, the builder was knocked down by Carla Connor in the Underworld van after she was secretly drugged with LSD by serial killer Stephen Reid.
Paul was knocked unconscious and taken to the hospital while Carla was left mortified by the incident with fears her mental health was in decline again after previous suffering from psychosis, unaware it's all part of Stephen's evil plan to get his own back on Carla and get his hands on the factory.
