There looks set to be an emotional goodbye in Coronation Street as a character makes an unexpected return. It hasn't been an easy time for Chesney Brown and co as their money struggles ended up in his son Joseph running away.
Last week, the dad of five and his partner Gemma Winter were distraught to learn that Joseph was being bullied at school because they can’t afford to buy a new school jumper and trainers.
The 10-year-old, played by William Flannagan, then went missing after kebab shop worker Chesney stormed off to the school to complain about his son's treatment, despite him promising his son he'd stay quiet. As well as a police search, £30,000 in reward money, spearheaded by Dev Alahan, was raised for his safe return. Eventually, Joseph returned home after being spotted back on the cobbles by Bernie Winter's friend Clint Stubbins.
