Coronation Street's Jenny Connor and Daisy Midgeley have been keeping a secret about how they regained the Rovers Return last year, but next week, it might be revealed.Fans of the ITV soap will remember that serial killer Stephen Reid held Jenny and his own niece Sarah Barlow hostage in the pub before he was run over and killed by Peter Barlow in shocking scenes aired in October.

However, Jenny later had her dangerous late ex-partner to thank for getting the Rovers back after Daisy found the money he had stolen from Underworld and used it to buy the pub back.Next week, as Daisy steps out of Tim Metcalfe's taxi with her shopping bags, Bethany thinks she must have spent a lot of money but Daisy quickly says that it's all from the charity shops in Alderley Edge, reports Manchester Evening News.In the Rovers, a curious Bethany then overhears Jenny scolding Daisy for spending so much money on her shopping spree and mentions that they need to keep a low profile with their finances.Tim soon reveals that he picked Daisy up from the centre of Manchester and Bethany realises she was lying.

Is Bethany close to discovering the truth about Daisy? Later, Bethany decides to make an effort with Daisy and tells Daniel Osbourne she'll pop in to help prepare for dinner.

At the Rovers, she convinces a hesitant Daisy to let her assist with cooking, but while Daisy's not looking, Bethany cranks up the oven temperature on the apple pie.
