Coronation Street star Charlie Lawson has hit out Jedward's controversial remarks about the monarchy following the death of the Queen last Thursday.
Twins John Grimes and Edward Grimes, 30, have faced backlash online for comments they made about the royal family on Twitter in the last couple of days.
In one of their remarks the twins called for the abolition of the monarchy and saying that King Charles III should "hand back" the six counties of Northern Ireland when he visits the country, writes The Mirror.The comments were slammed and even branded "embarrassing," and one person who responded to the pair was former Corrie actor Charlie, 62 - who played Jim McDonald on the ITV soap.
He replied to their tweet about Northern Ireland, which had read: "King Charles should hand back the six Irish counties on his visit to Northern Ireland.
