Max Turner appears to have a crush if his latest Coronation Street scenes are anything to go by. The teen was back on-screen during Monday night's (June 6) trip to the cobbles as he continued to attend a pupil referral unit after being kicked out of Weatherfield High.

The final straw for the troublesome teen came after it was revealed he was behind the spiking of fellow pupil Amy Barlow with his intended target being teacher Daniel Osbourne, who discovered Max's wrongdoing and kept it quiet to save his own skin after pushing him down the stairs.

Max then faced another talking to from David, and the prospect of going to prison, he decided to do a runner but needed his phone from the barbers and without David's help, he smashed the glass of the barber's door but ended up lacerating his leg on the broken glass on the way out and collapsed onto the street where he was found and helped by Jacob Hay. They ordered a takeaway in a bid to soften the blow when they broke the news to Max that he will be attending a Pupil Referral Unit for a year.
