Amanda Holden has compared a new Britain's Got Talent contestant to an international music sensation, as the show sets a record for the most golden buzzer acts in its history.The BGT judges were completely blown away by this year's talent, resulting in a record-breaking number of acts going straight through to the live finals.

Previously, the Britain's Got Talent judges were allowed to give five golden buzzers - one for each judge and one for the dynamic duo Ant and Dec.

However, this series saw that number soar to nine, with some judges unable to contain their excitement over the performances they saw.

Simon Cowell reflected on the abundance of talent: "I thought there were about another 17 acts who easily could have had a golden buzzer." "That's how good the talent is this year.
