The presenting duo confirmed that their much-loved ITV series would be taking a break after its current 20th season, with the last show airing tonight.
Ant and Dec previously said it seemed like the 'perfect time to pause for a little while and catch our breath'. The pair have also said they are putting their popular programme on pause 'to spend some time' with their loved ones.
Ant McPartlin, 48, married Anne-Marie Corbett, who has two teenage daughters from her previous relationship, in 2021 whilst Dec Donnelly, 48, shares two children, five-year-old daughter Isla and 18-month-old Jack, with his wife Ali Astall, whom he married in 2015.
