Fire crews were called to a main road in Wigan after a derelict hotel went up in flames. Emergency services rushed to Bolton Road following reports of a building fire on Tuesday evening (January 23).
Footage from the scene shows a huge blaze coming from the abandoned Rockleigh Hotel which has been described as an 'eyesore' in the Ashton-in-Makerfield neighbourhood.
Four fire engines from Wigan, Hindley, Leigh and Atherton fire stations were called to tackle the blaze and Greater Manchester Police officers were also in attendance.
