manchestereveningnews.co.ukAlly McCoist was left stunned by Antony's miss during Manchester United's Premier League clash with Southampton at Old Trafford on Thursday night.
Antony spurned a gift of a chance while United were 1-0 down to the Saints when he failed to properly connect with a cross from Alejandro Garnacho in the 59th minute.
Garnacho had put the ball on a plate for Antony at the back post but the Brazilian, on as a substitute for Kobbie Mainoo, tried to slide in and turn the ball home.
However, he did not connect cleanly with the ball and a grateful Aaron Ramsdale was on hand in the visitors' goal to collect the ball.
