The man has no fridge or freezer, or carpet on the floor. Perry's Pantry, a south Manchester foodbank set up during the first Covid lockdown, has now issued an urgent public appeal to give him warmth, comfort and security.
The registered charity isn't naming the man. He's understood to be aged in his late 40s and living in a flat in south Manchester.
Jen Savaris, who founded the charity, said she believes he has carers and is known to the authorities. But she posted details of his shocking situation on Facebook
