A picture taken on the Eccles lines via Media City at around 8.30am this morning shows a carriage full of people. Passengers appear to be unable to keep a safe distance from each other and are standing closely together.
A woman aboard the tram, who is six-months pregnant, says the crowds on her daily commute make her feel her “anxious”. She claims she has even been pushed out the way by people desperate to board the carriage.
