New head coach Ruben Amorim has said he has had to build his first Manchester United starting line-up around players he has had the most time with on the training ground.
Amorim, who was appointed as Erik ten Hag's successor earlier this month, first started working with some members of the squad at Carrington last Monday.
The training squad grew in size throughout the week as players started to return from international duty. However, some members of the squad did not return to England until late in the week, meaning they only had a couple of training sessions to prepare for this afternoon's clash with Ipswich Town. However, Amorim has said that decision was a result of his late return from international duty with Uruguay. Amorim, speaking to MUTV ahead of kick-off, said: "I have tried to use all the training [sessions] that we had during this week.
