There were nine goals, two red cards and more than 100 minutes of football as Bellshill and Irvine Victoria served up a dramatic afternoon’s entertainment.
Bellshill raced into a three-goal half-time lead on Saturday but Vics pulled two back before the hosts restored their cushion.
Incredibly, the Westenders scored twice in the space of a minute to make it 4-4, however, Bellshill ultimately prevailed with a winner in the first of 11 minutes injury time at the end.
During that period, they had two players sent-off but Vics were unable to capitalise on their numerical advantage and salvage point.
