They’re some of the most popular smartphones around the world, but if you use an iPhone, a new report may ring alarm bells for you.
Researchers from Google Project Zero have discovered a flaw in iPhones that could let hackers take over your smartphone through your WiFi.
Worryingly, if exploited, the flaw could allow attackers to steal your emails, photos and messages, and even access your camera and microphone.
The flaw was discovered by Google researcher Ian Beer in Apple’s Apple Wireless Direct Link technology. This technology uses WiFi to let users send files and photos between iPhones over AirDrop.
