Investigations at scene after serious crash involving motorbike and lorry

A huge emergency services response was called to the scene of a devastating crash between a motorbike and a lorry in Stockport on Wednesday (December 18).

Police and paramedics raced to the incident on Strines Road near Marple. The area was cordoned off with traffic diverted throughout the afternoon.

Serious Collision Officers were also called to the scene and are leading the investigation. The Manchester Evening News understands one person has been seriously injured.

Strines Road (B6101) was taped off between Station Road the B6102 Arkwright Road. The road was closed in both directions close to the Strines Nightingale pub.
