Dennis Quaid is among the Californians who had to pack up and leave their home behind… But a reporter didn’t make the process any quicker.
Earlier this week, The Substance actor and his family were forced to evacuate their Brentwood, California home as the Pacific Palisades fire continues to close in.
As he was loading his car full of belongings, NBCLA reporter Robert Kovacik rushed over to get an interview.

He went on to reveal he returned to his home with his dog after evacuating earlier in the week to hose the roof, grab a few more of his 17-year-old daughter’s things, and turn off his gas — which he urged local residents to do as well.
