Part of a wider £3.5 million transformation of the waterfront stretch at Quayside MediaCity, the new drinking and dining destination named Central Bay is one of the biggest operations of its kind - not only in Greater Manchester, but the North of England.
Impressively, it encompasses a 20-kitchen food hall, five waterside shipping container kitchens, and a shipping container bar - and that's only scratching the surface.
Over the coming months, the 25,000 sq ft venue will also become a home for pop-up events, live music and family friendly activities.
