Haunting images show inside an abandoned 1950s hairdressers which look like it has been frozen in time. Cans of hairspray, curlers, tubs of Brylcreem, Gillette razors and scissors are all left on the stations of Lewis's Hairdressers in Aberdare, Wales.

The interiors are decked out with frilly curtains and peach walls with posters hanging on the wall showcasing the latest hairstyles on trend, reports WalesOnline.

Customers could treat themselves to a beehive or a pin curls up do. The retro treasure trove was discovered when the front doors of the now derelict building were opened after it was under the threat of demolition.
