But the question on everyone’s lips is, who will be the next to fall under the Strictly curse? Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty was the focus of last year’s TV contest as viewers were left stunned over his ‘almost kiss’ with Katya during their routine.
Now, one year on, the sportsman has split from his girlfriend Eiri Munro, with whom he shares a two-year-old son called George.
In a lengthy social media post Adam wrote: “Eiri and George, I’m sorry for letting you down.” Countless celebrities have fallen foul of the Strictly curse since the show began in 2004.
