Scots actor James Mackenzie has returned to screens after the BBC confirmed the comeback of the iconic Scottish children's programme 'Raven' this week.Raven was a childhood classic for many who grew up in the 2000s and Dundee-born Mackenzie, 45, hosted the show as warlord Raven wearing his staple feathered cape and holding his carved bird staff.The programme, which aired on CBBC and was filmed in Scotland, saw children compete as young warriors in the challenges in an attempt to defeat evil sorcerer Nevar, who wore a black hooded cloak and metal mask.The BAFTA Award winning show, which aired from 2002 until 2010, filmed its first seven seasons at Castle Toward in Dunoon before moving to Aviemore.After 15 years since the original show was pulled from the schedule, Mackenzie announced this week that the legendary series is now available to re-watch on BBC iPlayer.He wrote: "RAVEN IS BACK ON @BBCiPlayer what the actual??!!
