The bitter feud between Pink Floyd has exploded into public again – after a “Camp David” to sort out Roger Waters and David Gilmour’s differences broke down.
Waters revealed a meeting was convened last year to no avail – dashing fans hopes of the band ever reuniting. The last time the classic line-up of Gilmour, Rick Wright, Waters and Nick Mason performed together was at Live 8 in Hyde Park on July 2, 2005.
It was their first gig in almost 25 years. Keyboard player Rick died three years later, aged 65. Now Waters, 76, has said Gilmour, 74, thinks he is “irrelevant”, claiming the guitarist has refused him access to Floyd’s website and social media channels.
