Jack Laugher is diving back towards Olympic glory for a fourth time with his eyes firmly set on the prize – he competes in the Men's Synchronised 3m Springboard at 10am on Friday, 2 August.
Cheering him on from the sidelines is his doting girlfriend and fellow Olympic diver, who was his teammate before plunging into a relationship.The 29 year old who hails from Yorkshire has certainly made a name for himself at the Olympic Games, having made his debut during London 2012.
While he didn't win a medal the first time around, he went on to make a sensational splash during Rio 2016 when he clinched a gold medal with 3m synchro partner Chris Mears - in a pool as notorious for its hue as for their harmonious victory.
For the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, Jack teamed up with Dan Goodfellow for the synchro, while they didn't make it to the podium, Jack took home bronze in the individual event.
