On day 10 of the Olympic Games BBC chiefs will have been left with their heads in the hands ahead of Keely Hodgkinson's spectacular 800m victory.
The 22-year-old put in a faultless performance to claim gold ahead of Ethiopia's Tsige Duguma and Kenya's Mary Moraa - however, as reported by the Mirror, the BBC's movement was not so silky smooth.
The channel cut to footage of Hodgkinson's family and friends at Leigh Athletics Club as they built up to the main event of the evening on the track in Paris.
The footage is usually met with enthusiastic waving and cheers as family members see themselves on television, but in this instance that was not the case.
