Mark Wright has updated his fans on the ongoing renovations at the £3.5million Essex mansion he shares with Michelle Keegan.

The former TOWIE star decided to build their dream home from scratch more than a year ago and since then, he has been documenting the massive project on social media, reports the Mirror.Since the beginning of their project, large improvements have happened on site with the property now boasting huge manicured gardens, luxury interiors and a modern white stone terrace. The 36-year-old has now revealed that work on the garden is nearly complete, but he told his 1.8million followers on Instagram that bad weather meant that the pool completion date was pushed back.“Because of the constant rain, the grass is doing exceptionally well, but it means the pool had to come to a halt because we couldn't obviously tile - they wouldn't stick while it was full up on water.

There was like two inches of water. we have drained it all out today,” he said in a video on Instagram Stories. As he videoed workmen tiling the swimming pool, Mark also revealed that they had opted for an unusual design which featured an elongated shallow end with built-in sunloungers, to enable their pet dogs to swim safely in the pool.“The reason why we have done a big deep top step is because it's almost like a little kids' pool...

Dogs, the kids can paddle around in it and we can sit on top of here... Love the design,” he said. The reality star praised the tradesmen for delivering a “spotless” looking pool and said he was excited to finally take a dip, but first, the patio and surrounding area needed a good clean after the run of bad weather had left his windows mucky.“These windows definitely needed a clean.
